To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand why every piece of fiction is sexist. The sexism is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of women's studies, most of the sexism will go over a typical fan's head.

David S. Goyer may have written Batman Begins and The Dark Knight, but he also wrote Jumper, Batman versus Superman, and Nick Fury: Agent of Shield. Oh, and the shitty Crow sequel.

I don't know why the guy goes around saying that comic fans are all sexist virgins who get beaten up if he's so quick to pick up a paycheck on another superhero movie. Like, fuck you, dude.

His writing is nothing special. He's just lucky enough to occasionally be paired with a director who can elevate his work above something like the Van Damme movies and straight-to-video horror rentals he used to write for.
