I've listened to the 3, 4 and Underground sountracks lately and there's a lot more than I remember.

I remember you could turn on/off genres in UG so that probably explains that but I dunno about 3 and 4.

Yeah some of it is good stuff. Other stuff is a bit over my head. Much like the rest of the genres in those games.

Indeed. As a skater myself, nothing beats cruising around to a bomber hip-hop track busting tricks to the beat.

I play in a punk rock band, but it lacks the definition that hip-hop does when it comes to slick, stylish movement.

I usually think punk/rock when thinking about THPS games, but when I think about the first Tony Hawk's Underground, rap is the first thing that come to mind. They really picked a lot of good songs that fit with the vibe of the game even if there are better rap songs in other games or in general.

THP4 got me into Run DMC, NWA and Public Enemy. Thank you again Tony Hawk's Pro Skater.

4 really took off once Chad Muska started getting his songs on there
2 and 3 only had a few songs. Underground cemented it into its own genre off hip-hop which isn't just rap but still, you get the idea.

Our name is Ol' School Johnny. We've got two albums up on spotify/google play/itunes. First album is called "The Great Contest," second is called "That's Life, Man."

If you like more hardcore stuff, scope "Historical Low" or "Kinky Cuddlin'" off the first album. The rest is more rocky punk.
