I had a pair of headphones I would use and plug them into the controller to hear things on my computer - Netflix, games, YouTube. But then I had to replace my headphones but the new ones don't pick up any sound with my controller, just when I plug it into the Tower's jack, which isn't good because I play in a chair that's ways away from the tower and TV

Reddit is so idiotic -

Subreddit - PCGaming

Title - Having issues with my PC, Computer and Headphones

Body - I play from my recliner and have my headphones plugged into the headphone jack on my controller, but I had to replace my headphones and went to today. But when I plugged the headphones into the controller, I don't get any sound. If I plug them into the PC's headphone jack, I have no issue besides the fact that I'm way too close to my TV now

Any way to fix this?

Then it gets auto-flagged - Unfortunately your submission has been removed because it appears that you are asking about buying a headset

Instead, try /r/buildapc or /r/Headphones

Is the old jack longer than the new jack? Or are they the same size?

It would get removed anyway since tech support questions are not allowed in that sub.

It says right here in Matthew 16:4 "Jesus doth not need a giant Mecha."

This is why CE will always be better than Reddit. Sometimes I don't have a fucking clue where I ask or write about things on Reddit since some things like Headphones have 20+ fucking subreddits.

I don't know how to do that. . .

Should be the same size. Both headphones worked for everything, but the new one only doesn't work for my controller. Old headphones still do, just one ear is not working, that's why I was replacing it
