I've been a complete bum and only recently got back on track. My ex and my active laziness was keeping me distracted from the stuff I should have concentrated on and I've lapsed.

Became a member of a new boxing gym and have a study schedule going now which I should have done in May better late than never I suppose. I felt like the end goal was intimidating so I was apprehensive and used laziness as a way to avoid it. People ask how I've been doing with it and have nothing to show. I'm very determined now though. My job couldn't get anymore boring and a waste of time for me.

New roommate is a really nice guy. Very courteous and quiet. Just how I like em.

So yea, that's my update lol. Im restricting myself from going anywhere. So labor day weekend I'll be sitting my ass at home.

I'm literally getting 2 paychecks and have 0 expenses so I'm trying to have some fun tbh. Friend of mine is going to Hawaii in Sept/Oct and I'm trying to tag along

I tried and failed at getting a new job. Would've been $25 an hour at full time.

Basically it came down to me and one other person and they picked the other person due to experience.

So I'm still stuck at my current job. Other than that, not much else has changed.

I had a friend who was living in DC amd then Baltimore so I was down there at least a couple times a year. Moving at the end of this month to right outside Boston.

Still in MD. I used to live with fellow Buttslam Boy MegaTech. We had an apartment together for a year up until this past May, then we broke up. He still comes around here though because he won't get over me.

When our lease ended I just moved back in with my parents due to circumstances with my previous job closing the office and laying everyone off. It turned out to be a huge blessing though, I got a new job in the same field (pharmaceutical consulting), more responsibility and much better pay. I'm saving money like crazy and still getting severance from my last job. Really want to start looking into buying my own house in the next year or so. Also just trying to have fun and live though while I don't have much financial responsibilities.

That's awesome! Are you trying to buy a house in MD or do you think you'll look in other areas too? Getting severance along with pay from a consulting gig has got to be netting you a fuckton of savings. Now's definitely the time to let loose a bit.

I would love to live in/close to DC but I don't think it's in the cards for me. For one, it gets much more expensive for a much smaller space. Then I'd be moving farther from work. My commute is literally less than 10 minutes every day and I kinda don't wanna give that up, despite hating to let work impact where I can live.

i'm still almost a lawyer - i took the ethics exam last week; should be finding out scores early sept.

my job at the law firm is pretty awesome. got an office with two other dudes. the new law clerk is gay so the other two gay peeps at the office are just eating that shit up (we had our betting pools going, until someone just got on grindr and found his profile).

i'm still living with the genetic donors, but i should be moving out december or january. excited for dat lawyer pay.

A lot closer than my old one. They have a much less rigid workout regiment for class so each instructors workout is more varied than anothers. The old gym had a very cut and dry way of workouts being structured so the variance between instructors was a lot less. There is also a smaller class size so the personal instruction is higher.

Because of that, I'm seeing a lot of new methods on how to train.

I've been out of it for about 8 months so the last two weeks have been killing me. I'll be in great shape again in no time though!!
