At this same point in time (573 days into term)
Obama was 45.5
W Bush was at 68.5
Clinton was at 45.3
Bush Sr was at 73.9
Reagan was at 41.1
Carter at 39

George W Bush had the highest approval rating of all time (or at least since they have been recording the ratings) with a 88.1% approval rating at some point.

Second place goes to Harry Truman who had an 87% to start his term

They have to know immigration hurts them already. Blacks are being pushed out of their historically black neighborhoods in LA, Mexican gangsters ethnic cleansing and terrorizing blacks.... but the conditioning is strong. Don't expect that many black people to get behind Trump.

I really doubt black people as a demographic will cling onto the DNC for much longer once they realize none of their policies are helping them in any way

well it's true. Liberals and the DNC fuel garbage movements like BLM which do nothing, but hurt the community. How does it help them to harbor hatred and distrust with police?

Politicians in general exist to invent problems so that people are incentivized to elect them so they can "solve" them.

I'm not saying that the GOP caters to the black community, and I don't really think they have the interests of black people specifically in mind, I just think the demographic's loyalty to the DNC is misplaced and will only go away overtime.

I heard on NYT's The Daily about a study indicating that the important demographic in the midterms is Republican, college-educated women. Because they're very likely to Pokmon Go to the polls and they seem to be very on the fence about Trump.

Trump was lucky to come into office during a period of economic recovery. He got to ride out the best years of the economy as opposed to Obama who had to deal with a recession and managed to get us though it and begin to fix things. I hope for the sake of the country I love that things don't start getting worse, that the economy continues to get better.

It's weird that that it's generally the republicans who will result to making their own results if they can't find it. That generally doesn't seem to be something most dems do. This is a common republican tactic because they are willing to do dirty tactics their opponents must be doing them too, even though they can never find substantial evidence.

Here I am as a liberal democrat giving Trump credit for our current economy yet I have yet to see a republican give Obama credit for getting us out of a horrible recession and help create road to recover that Trump is currently maintaining. Both of them together deserve credit.

Basically. The ultra rich are never impacted negatively by democrats, they flourish under Republicans and the national debt skyrockets resulting in democrats being unable to afford a lot of the programs they want to enact. But trillions of additional funding for the military when we aren't in any new wars? Somehow will always pass nearly unanimously. And of course we don't even bother passing any policies saying that the american based companies that create and sell the military its weapons can't sell to enemy nations, something that would both save US lives and avoid that annual "former US weaponry and jeeps found being used by enemy combatants in whatever middle East country we decided to invade in the past year or two" news story that gets maybe 30 seconds of airtime.
