Example: when Dr. Strange does that thing where he makes a bunch of copies of himself, Thanos finds the real one right away. The Power Stone is filled with raw energy that will kill you if you are not strong enough in the movies. In the comics, it amplifies your raw strength, not uncontrollable energy. The Mind Stone brainwashes people and gives them superpowers in the movies. In the comics, it grants control over minds of all sentient lifeforms.
