It may seem boring otherwise, and it'll also give town a better chance of winning when there's basically no chance for noobs. Don't introduce anything too complex (such as watcher, bus driver or roleblocker), doesn't work well in that sort of setting and it may get hard to keep track of for others (or you, which will piss off the people playing). Gunman, vengeful, werewolf role cop, godfather and miller can be introduced if you play for a while. Don't add in complex scanning roles. Drunk or fool can be a laugh as well. Tell people the roles that can exist as you introduce them. Third was 13, also cop and vig. Fourth was 15, cop and vig, this one was kind of funny because one of the newest players rolled vig and got killed night 2 and was mad they didn't get to use their power. Fifth was 16 players with 5 mafia and they got destroyed. Town voted right every day and mafia didn't hit a power. Our last game was crazy, by this time everyone was actually paranoid about who was what. Town won at a mylo. --- Mind post. Best story is on a recent trip to Oregon to visit my Grandparents, there was this huge 4th of July party where all of my Grandpa's retired union friends were invited. And I was really bored so I suggested we all play mafia and suddenly I was teaching the game to about fifteen 60+ year olds. A few of them caught on quick and a few of them forgot how to use their role abilities immediately. But it was a blast. And there was this one lady who was amazing as scum.
