Nah, you're just going slower and spending more time grinding out each persona probably. Not that that's wrong or anything, but 73 hours at that point is definitely behind schedule

It's my wife's first rpg she's played and she's 96 hours saved right before the final boss.

I don't think I'm grinding on purpose, but I have been doing mementos, and basically going as far in it as the game allows.

Also, I am playing in hard mode, so I probably spent a lot of time dying in the earlier bosses -madarame was hard for me since I was pretty under leveled.

Food game though, if I do beat it, it'll probably be the most amount of time I spent on a single play through of a game

I beat the whole game around that time but I was playing on easy because RPGs are long enough as is. It's still a great game though.
