"better" needs to be defined better.
From a weight loss perceptive, what you eat is more important than exercise. Eating healthy but being sedentary would still decondition you physically and comes with some health risks. So neither is correct, but I guess eating healthy and don't exercise is "less wrong." --- ... Copied to Clipboard!

I battle with my weight a lot. So I go up and down. I can tell you at least for me working out does better for me. When I work out I am dropping pounds like crazy. When stuff comes up and stop working out I get bigger or stop losing an I am eating healthy in both situations. I am even counting what I eat.

eating healthy will always be more important. plenty of in shape people have clogged arteries from their shit eating diets

Both. They each have benefits on their own and I would argue eating healthy will be more beneficial. But, doing both will give you the best results.

Both are important for health but diet is probably more important. And if we are talking just bodyweight then diet is more important by far.
