Same. Infact, on Thursday we had an abnormal low of 4 and a high of 41. What kinda spread is that?

What was your low? The big part that makes it hot in the desert, is that it never properly cools down. I don't get quite Arizona hot here, but we'll have a stretch every year, where it's daily 100f+ and then at night it's still in the 80s, usually mid to high 80s at that. Thankfully, it's looking like we're not set to crack the 100s anymore this year, which would be nice.

Going from about 5c to -30c in just a few hours followed by a blizzard

It was insanely hot. I've been to Las Vegas before, yesterday's heat here in Lethbridge was far worse. It was smoky outside though, so that helped prevent thethe direct sunlight from making it worse.

Here's what my truck was reading as the temperature.

The smoke here in California is horrible. It didnt get as high as 40, but it was at least 37 or so. I will not miss this summer at all.

41 right now. Went for like a 7 hour walk this morning/afternoon (pedometer challenge at work, and I feel like crushing any hope my coworkers have), and it was like walking through lava.

I'm a bit used to it though, as I spent all of June in Texas, where it was a constant 40-45 for most of it as there was a heat wave going on.

Yup. It actually very rarely hit 40, but it also basically never dropped below 20. It was a consistent 30-35.

Left a trip from Montana back home to Arizona yesterday. It was like 93f when I left and I flew into 79f and it was a windy lighting filled rain storm.

It felt like around 42C for a couple of days here. It was oppressive, like you were actively fighting against the hot air.
