More money so sure. I'll likely be the director of my school by the end of the year. Either the British guy will quit/be fired (he's a douche, no one likes him and he's creating a toxic work environment) or we open a second branch and I'll run it.

If I get a director position (will include a nice raise which will bring me to around $5,000cdn/month after taxes), I'll likely end up staying in China longer than the 2 years I planned to stay. I at the very least want my daughter to go to high school in Canada (though I would prefer it be around grade 6) so that gives us up to 10 years here.

I mean technically I'm not, but the way the business runs, we just all kinda do our own thing. I pretty much am the shipping department, so I'm not supervised and I just do my work. The closest to oversight is if I want or feel like I need a 2nd opinion.

Depends if I'm dealing with the union or not. If I don't have the ability to fire a problematic employee there is no way in hell I'd want to be a supervisor. A lot of supervisors that deal with the union are not part of the union.

I am and I regret it. It is painful, stressful, and overwhelming at my job. 39.999 hours retail prison is not fun, and it is not worth the $1.50 more an hour I get compared to the laid back, chilling, part time employees who come and go at a moments notice.
