Why would they need to? They're like the one company that can exist solely on word of mouth. They can probably also appeal more to hipsters by pretending to "rebuke the corporatist monster of big commercial" or whatever nonsense.

On a serious note, I see Starbucks commercials on the daily. They've got a much different method to their commercials now. Usually some boring tune and words on a screen.
