Reddit have it, i think neogaf used to have it, even rpg fucking codex have alot of developers posting on it both indie or big studio like obsidian, warhorse, i/o interactive etc

I remeber troy baker posted once and got warned by idiot mods and never seen again

That's why devs and people in the business don't post here.

Although admittedly, sometimes that stuff happens on Reddit, too. I remember the guy who had his face used for "Bad Luck Brian" did an AMA, and the mods deleted the topic.

I think most of them were drawn to Neogaf as a 'safe space'. Usually from there information would filter out to Reddit and then to Gamefaqs.

If you look at the current users on the boards these days, it's 1,265 as I post this. No developer is going to 'waste time' for such a small audience. They'd rather broadcast stuff on Twitter.

what about rpg codex? it's vile and developers keep posting. outside of the usual indie developers which have forums dedicated to updates and stuff, they got prominent big name people like:
-chris avellone (well probably because rpg codex worships the guy)
-eric fernstermaker
-josh sawyer
-brandon adler
-swen vincke
-tim cain
-anthony davis
-george ziets

also the real name is unknown for regular user but confirmed employees of:

-warhorse studio (kingdom come)
-I/O interactive (hitman)
-arkane (dishonored)
-eidos interactive ( deus ex HR)

as for indie titles it's practically dozens

maybe it is really a specific niche site, and well outside of political posters it actually a great source of information and constructive criticism
