My brother likes the zombie mode in Black Ops 1 / 2, and while I can't get him World at War on PSN, both of the mentioned games are on sale. I'm just curious if the zombie mode within the two games is fine.

zombie mode on advanced warfare ps3 is alright, my brother was a huge fan not sure about the playerbase tho, the 4 way console split was rough in the longetivity of that one, also not entirely sure if zombies comes with the game default i think you might need to get it via dlc

ALSO IMPORTANT all the zombie maps on world at war are available as DLC for blops 1 (and the more popular ones are still relatively easy to find matches on)

Blops 3 zombies is cool too but its heavily secret and easter egg based, heavy map knowledge focus, if thats what he is into

Yeah, but the game DLCs are expensive here, and never goes on sale.

thats rough, getting waw wouldnt fix that either though as it only comes with 1 zombie map and the rest are dlc
COD is really stingy about pricing on multiplayer content for a dead game

Dang. I thought it didn't have DLC for that one, nothing on the store at all. Okay, I'll skip that. Pity though.
