i avoid movie trailers and reviews so im not spoiled or have expectations/hopes for films. saying that, its not with any films that i literally know nothing about

It seems like movies these days are so cookie-cutter, and studios rarely take chances any more. If they do, it's some SJW propaganda indie film most of the time. Hence why I watch trailers. I wouldnt say literally nothing, but I went into Iron Man knowing very little about it. I knew who Iron Man was but that was about it. I went in expecting it to be on the same level as the Daredevil movie. I was blown away by how good it was.
