I've been too timid to blow resources on it normally. Honestly, my MP5 is almost Lv90, so even if I got one, I'd just keep it to complete a core-less upgrade. As far as 5* equipment goes, I kinda want an armored shotgun vest. I'm still not a fan of microtransactiony games having a ton of different currencies (batteries, tickets, contracts, gems, energy, the four basic ones, etc.) and then drip-feeding players on all of 'em. There isn't a single resource in the game -- at least of what I've seen so far -- that isn't being throttled in some manner. It's easy to make a case on a lot of it being predatory, despite the overtures of generosity. If you're interested in playing, know that the early gaming is probably the hardest since you have little to no resources and few good ways to get 'em. Once you go through the campaign a bit and unlock better logistics, plus another squad slot, you can have your slaves spare units run them 24/7 and build up a nest egg. Things get easier once you do that. In League you either grinded out characters or flat out bought them. In this game, you have four resources that you are constantly generating by having teams do missions to get them. You get these resources fast and throw them into the factory, the amounts of each you put in can alter the odds of what comes out. You can't use money to get the characters you want at all. In fact, if you tried to use money to get the characters, you'd need to use a ton by buying contracts and all four resources just to do the same process, which won't exactly get what you want. Pretty much would be a waste. The big paid thing is the paid currency, tokens. Tokens are only used to get furniture for dorms and cosmetic items. MP5 actually has three event costumes: the summer one they just announced for EN version, as well as halloween and bridal costumes that are released in the CN (and maybe KR) version but not the EN version yet.
