What about the books?

First ones good. Second ones sorta meh. Haven't seen third yet.

The books are supposedly pretty decent. The movies feel like an opportunistic cash grab capitalizing on a trend without figuring out why the novel was so popular.

first is alright.
probably the "best" of the YA trend of adventure movies past the first two hunger games... also, pretty nice that "era" is finally over tbh. was so bored by the 2nd that i never bothered with the 3rd --- ... Copied to Clipboard!
