Rent is about 60% of my income or about 38% of my wife and i's combined income. My income is low so I pay nothing currently and will qualify for loan forgiveness in about 7 years because I work for a non profit.

Of net income? About 31%.

I'm kinda surprised so it's so low for a lot of people in here. Rent is maybe on average around a thousand or so a month, and lots of people around 20% in here, so that's like $5,000 a month net, plenty more gross a month.

So either plenty of very well off people, or plenty of people that live in very low cost of living areas like in the country and stuff.
