and they don't even need to offer us candy

and dating online is a regular thing

also, it's not odd. things just changed.

It wasn't that long ago that if you were active on the internet you were considered some deranged anti-social loser who is probably secretly a serial killer or something.

Now that's what people think you are if they can't add you on at least 3 different vapid social media sites.

Remember when IRL retailers would try to scare you from online shopping saying how what if your identity/money gets stolen or that anything you buy wont arrive or would be fake lol.

And we post on online forums, giving up our deepest, darkest thoughts that the FBI can pore over after they take our hard drives which we all have set up to auto fill our passwords.

People used to have to wait until they got home to a computer to post their adventures on Facebook.

Now they post from their phones in real time, announcing to burglars that they are currently not home.
