No.
They've been harping on that my whole life. The San Andreas fault is only about 10 miles away from me too. Every time there's the smallest of quakes the news can't resist running those "When with the 'big one' strike?" stories.
And at the end of the day. If a truly cataclysmic level earthquake ever did hit. Then even will all the preparedness you may think you've done you'll still be screwed. There's no preparing for something on that level.
Yeah we'll see another few 6.5-7.0 ones over the decades like the Northridge, Landers, etc ones. But never the OMFG it's a 10.0! one.
