Switch They already have plans for another system which will likely be the 3DS replacement. The Switch wouldn't really work for countless logistical reasons, even if they designed a smaller SKU. I don't know why this practice wasn't always in place, but whatever it's Nintendo. I know it's a polarizing game, but Phantom Hourglass was an amazing example of DS tech being used fully and creatively.
