The problem is that the government doesn't have any money. The money for welfare is taken by force by the government, from people who really are not morally bound to support you. That makes it wrong.

No, not really. Places like Target or Wal-mart will hire anyone with a pulse. If you aren't getting bites from places like that, you aren't marketing yourself properly on your resume or selling yourself short. Even volunteer work at a soup kitchen, pet shelter, or hospital will count as work experience. And there's no excuse to not fill some of your time with some productive endeavor if you aren't employed.

If you're talking about entry-level work in some field, you were supposed to be doing some sort of volunteering or internship type work in your field while still in education because that counts as experience. That gives you 1-4 years experience straight out of college.

Sure, some life circumstances are exceptions and welfare is meant to help people who befall to these exceptions to help them get back on their feet. But a young, able-bodied individual who can't even find basic customer service/retail type work is either lazy, picky, or needs to reflect a bit more on how to market themselves better. This is presuming no disabilities or situations like homelessness, which can be it's own problem in securing work.
