What is unhealthy about it other than it is an oil? It does what most oils do, but also has some antimicrobial effects, so useful for that. Decent face moisturizer, specially if you have oily skin.

It's pretty good for cooking with if you like the flavour it imparts. It's almost entirely saturated fat so it oxidizes a lot less than other oils.

I prefer avocado oil because it doesn't smoke until 500+ degrees

Coconut oil is in the 300s I think
