The Expansion Pass of Xenoblade 2 offers loads of content, they also offer free updates to those without the pass that also offers a bunch of new stuff (mainly New Game+ which actually adds a lot to do), and then the new story DLC which seems to be sizable enough to rival a Witcher 3 expansion. Possibly even more since a datamine reveals it might be 3/4 the length of the main game.

You're right, I forgot that they did DLC quests for Xenoblade X in Japan (which was included with the game on the localized version) and they were paid DLC I think.

Still, I think Xenoblade 2 has some of the best DLC I've seen in a Nintendo game.

Also the DLC gives you actual items to make the game more fun. You dont have to use them but its nice for people like me who arent going to sink 150 hours into the game grinding out every little thing.

That's true, I completely forgot about the item packs. That REALLY cuts out a lot of grinding.

...They're not microtransactions and you can use them again for each save file even if you delete one, so item packs are totally fine here, lol.
