Egypt receives about $1 billion in military aid from us every year. We also have miltary bases at Bahrain and Qatar. Itachi157 07/31/18 12:48:35 AM #9:	Assad has always been pretty hostile I think, even before this current conflict. IIRC he was letting insurgents pass into Iraq through Syria to go fight US troops during the Iraq War or something like that.
