So now I have quite the predicament. Best girl Miu is dead and 2nd best girl Kaede is dead. idk who would take place as 3rd best girl. Himiko has a funny personality but she literally has no body >_> On the flip side, Tsumagi has some rocking titties and likes nerdy shit, but she is literally plain as fuck otherwise and has no personality.

They're both kinda tied but their flaws suck too. If only they could fusion dance into 1 chick with both good qualities. But she would still be 3rd best otherwise since Kaede and Miu are better in every way from those 2.

Got to another plot dump with the Flashback Light. Now I know we were all Hope's Peak students and Kokichi was the Ultimate Despair leader now.

My knee jerk reaction is that they got killed elsewhere and the culprit put them in the hydraulic press after they died to hide the evidence. Since the body wasn't alive anymore, the press would go down regardless.

I'm guessing Kaito actually died. Himiko probably smuggled the crossbow to him and he shot Kokichi twice, then got into a scuffle and cuz of his space cancer, lost the crossbow to Kokichi. Then Kokichi shot Kaito in the arm, somehow he died and then Kokichi out his body in the press to destroy the evidence.
