I know there was another topic from someone else that just purged, but I just happened to pick it up when it was $20 on Vita, so yolo! I even played the demo to get all the bonus shit too.

I've only played 1 and 2. I never played Ultra Despair Girls cuz I heard it was hot garbage and haven't watched the Danganronpa 3 anime yet. Do I need any of those to understand the story or can I just get by without them? >_>

I'm starting the main game now, but my thoughts from the demo:
Would titfuck Kaede and Miu. It's cool I'm playing as a chick this time. The nice rack is a bonus >_>
The Akido Master needs to get fucking murdered ASAP. Same with the artist chick. I hope they both die.
The Magician chick is hilarious. I hope she lives

Playing as Kaede made it so difficult for me to decide on my free time events as opposed to the other games. When I played as Makoto and Hinata, I'd go for the hottest girl of the cast. But what happens YOU are the hottest girl in the cast? Half of those chumps aren't worthy of my time (Saihara? My resident sidekick who can't make eye contact with what he perceives as talking but is really just murmuring? LOL no) and other girls wish they were as awesome as me. In the end, I prioritized listening to Koichi's BS as it's at least entertaining and Maki since she's the 2nd best girl and best girls stick together.

Don't watch D3 or the Despair arc. Pretend they never existed. The Despair arc started out fun like a slice of life, but the 2nd half happens and you tell the exact moment when the show's quality got flushed down the drain. The Despair arc could have been good if it had 24 episodes and a certain villain didn't ruin things for all of us.
