John Goodman, star of Roseanne and now The Connors has appeared in a political ad in Missouri supporting UNIONS which has confirmed his political beliefs that he is indeed a LIBERAL after he refused to comment on Roseanne's firing and people were left wondering if he was silent because he was part of "Conservative Hollywood".

He is best known for portraying Dan Conner as he is heard in the radio ad opposing "right to work" law in Missouri on August 7 ballot

He says "Maybe you've heard of Proposition A, the Missouri Senate's so called right to work bill. The name's deceiving: the bill will not give you the right to work> instead, it gives big business and out of state corporations the right to pay you less than they do now. It's being sold as a way to help Missouri workers, but look a little deeper and you'll see it's all about corporate greed"

Goodman was born in Affton, Missouri as his own union, SAG paid for the radio ad.

Supporters of the right to work legislation says workers should be able to choose whether they pay union dues in industries that require union membership. Republicans have passed the law banning mandatory union fees last year as opponents gathered enough signatures to put it to a public vote as the law has not yet gone into effect.

John will appear in the Roseanne spinoff, the Connors as his character will remain on the show after Heifer Roseanne was fired for her racist remarks. Dan's character is a little more on the "conservative" side as he plays a working class father who loses his job to an immigrant and complains about it in one of the episodes.

You could say the same for the right-wingers they are in lock step on a ton of issues. Shit usually in the senate the liberals have a tendency to vote against their party on occasion meanwhile a conservative rarely if ever does that.
