Also this wont save these farmers if the tariffs stay in effect, it will keep them afloat until Nov so they're not pissed this election cycle, then they'll go bankrupt, and ultra-large farms will buy up their land, consolidating agricultural production in the hands of even less people. I hadn't even realized that he could be doing this, only do it enough for a few weeks or months and then let the small ones die so mega farms could take over.
