Never had mono. Used to get strep all the time, so it's nothing new... But this is the most ill I've felt in years. I literally want to go back to sleep, but I figure I should at least try and stay awake for a bit. All I ate yesterday was a bowl of cereal, so I'm starving.

I spent some time cleaning my place, which resulted in me feeling exhausted. Took some more meds, and will likely have a nap soon.

Maybe this afternoon I'll play some more Ys 8. Ys Memories of Celceta is also coming out this week on Steam, and I'll definitely pick that up.

Strep throat is the worst shit ever. Last time I had it I figured it was just a cold and waited for it to go away until it was so unbearable I finally went to the doctor.. my shit was so swollen they gave me steroids for the swelling and had to stick a needle in the back of my throat and drain whatever.

It was the worst thing ever.

I have had it multiple times in the past, so I was pretty certain I had it, and went straight to the doc to get antibiotics.

Doc took one look and said "not even gonna bother with the test. You definitely have strep" and then gave me antibiotics.

That sucks. I used to get it all the time as a kid but I dont think Ive had it since high school.

I used to get strep pretty often, but now I get awful ear infections every 3 months or so.

I used to get it like once a year or so, but after the surgery on my nose I hadn't gotten one. Could just be pure coincidence though.

I picked up some NeoCitran this morning, never used it before... It works far better than I would have thought. It makes me sleepy, takes away the pain, and stops the coughing. It's like a magical wonder tea.

Alright, this is getting absurd. Time to go back to the doctor methinks.

The strep throat is definitely gone, but I still feel like death. I have basically every symptom of the common cold or flu, but I'm worried it might be something worse if I'm still down for the count 4 days later.

Also, I'm running out of food. I might actually have to stop and get some groceries before I medicate myself to oblivion.

By which I mean easy to cook food. I've basically only eaten cereal, oatmeal, and soup the last week.
