the 1st was awesome but hoo boy this was a pile of shit. the story action & comedy all fell flat. elton john was the only funny part of the flick

It was a step back, but it didn't suck. First one was like a 9/10, 2nd one was maybe a 7 at best.

I have pretty much the opposite opinion of you. I thought it was decent overall, like someone said not as good as the original but a solid 7-8/10, but the Elton John stuff was terrible.

it totally lacked the things that made the 1st so great. it was gonna be damn near impossible to top the church scene but they never tried with the sequel

the first one sucked in the last third too. there's only been about 1 hour of good film in that entire franchise
