You've got:

DCEU
Gotham
Black Lightning (for now...)
Arrowverse
Titans
Krypton

WTF. They don't even have the excuse that Marvel does where their properties are all split up between different companies.

I, for one, thank god that Gotham is not touched by either Arrow nor the DCEU.

I actually like the fact that DC takes their time with their movies and doesn't churn one out every month. Although Marvel is doing a good job...

I'm pretty sure in like season 2, they just said "fuck it" and decided that this isn't going to be leading into any specific Batman mythology. I mean, the last season ended with No Man's Land.

And that's perfectly fine because what we have is amazing.

Ok, I didn't get a good look of Kori during a brief Titans ad few days ago.

Now that I took a bit of time to google a pic of Kori in Titans, it was not a good pic.

Well it sort of goes against the whole fucking point of creating a shared cinematic universe. They seem to just do a soft reboot every five years or so.

Multiple dimensions are acceptable in the comics, why is it so hard to accept it in moving pictures?

Because comics literally have years and years to build these things and fully explore them, movies don't. It's not really a 'shared universe'. If it was, you could easily argue that Nolan's films, Burton's films, the Christopher Reeve films, and all the others take place in the same universe.

Sure, but that's not a 'shared universe'. If it was, you could easily argue that every movie ever made is part of a 'cinematic shared universe'.

It would be amazing if the flash from CW ran through the multiverse and met Ezra Miller in plain clothes and they just kinda looked at each other funny and didn't say anything as an Easter egg/cameo

Outside of Black Lightning isn't this still the case? You've got the CW, Fox and now this new streaming service.

Even though Warner Bros owns the properties they've still been licensing them out to different studios and channels and I doubt they're interested answering to some complicated canon.

Even Marvel seems pretty fractured. Has their stuff on ABC ever referenced the Netflix shows?

WB really need to ditch the dumbass block list for their characters though. They shouldn't have to rely on Stephen Amell asking the CEO personally to name drop Bruce Wayne.

It's so damn ridiculous that Gotham can't use the Joker name.

I don't think these connected universes matter at all unless it's the same people behind everything to link it together.

I think the real problem is that some characters/heroes exist in both or logically should. Batman is tied to Gotham and DCCU, Flash is in Flash and Justice League, etc.

Yes, actually. One episode had an assassination attempt against a superpowered politician using a Judas Bullet from Luke Cage.

Picture it. Justice League 2's post-credits scene is just the last couple minutes of the movie played over again. It zooms out to show the movie being played on a screen in a vast bank of them. On one screen is Adam West, being silly. On another, Christopher Reeves is flying backwards in time. On another, Grant Gustin is the fastest man alive. Tom Welling, the DCAU, Gotham, Krypton, Black Lightning, all of it.

And then we watch the camera move to show the Anti-Monitor watching it all with a look of disgust on his face.
