Just drawing the gun probably would have been enough to stop the situation but at the same time, I don't really feel bad for the guy who got shot. You don't randomly assault someone for standing outside your car while arguing with your wife. If he laid a hand on them or was being violent, sure but this dude just straight up blindsided him.

you don't have to shoot someone just cause they shoved you. that's pathetic. and yea, just brandish the gun. it sounds like the man had no idea his killer had a gun. and the killer whipped it out and shot in one fluid motion that probably gave the victim no time to react. if he had just pulled out the gun and aimed it and warned him, the victim would have backed off. pulling the trigger was too much.

I am sick of these stand your ground cases. almost all of them are wrong. and people are getting away with murder

and I don't like it when someone thinking they are having a fair fight and then just cause they are winning, the other person pulls out a gun

The black guy was already backing up after he pushed the guy. There was no reason, from what I see in the footage, for the White guy to do anything beyond just pulling his gun if he even had to do that. Looks like a bad shoot based on what we have to go on right now. Terrible

Agreed, just pulling the gun would have deescalated the situation right there. But at the same time, if you escalate a situation by assaulting a person unprovoked (even if there was an argument) then you're asking for something like this to happen, especially in places where concealed/open carry is allowed and stand your ground exists.

Also, it isn't a fair fight when you blindside someone like that.

We don't know for sure if the shooter isn't being charged, the case was sent to the district attorney as they have the final say.

well still, didn't all do is just shove the guy to the ground and then start to walk away? the fight was over. if you even call it a fight. so what if the guy fell to the ground? you don't murder over that.
