I know his biggest criticism was starting the Iraq war for basically no reason but to finish up his daddy's work and because "we're already in the Middle East so might as well stop by and fuck up Saddam Hussein". Tax cuts for the rich and presiding over the creation of a huge national debt didn't help his image.
