Obviously this isn't true about all women, but damn it's like once most of them hit 30 they look like they're 40. Meanwhile a lot of men in their mid to late 30s could pass as someone in their mid to late 20s.

Biology probably.
Women are reproductively relevant for about 25-30 years, starting around the early teens or so. Men are reproductively relevant until impotence sets in at some arbitrary point, or death, whichever occurs first.

I think makeup does terrible things to their skin

My wife is 38 and still gets carded.

I feel sorry for my wife. She bleaches the bejesus out of her hair. Looks great, she gets compliments from random people every time we go out, but I'm pretty sure she's gonna be bald by the time she's 45.

It's just something I've noticed in people. By their 30s, most girls have this terrible skin and they have to layer on so much makeup to look presentable. Meanwhile girls who never were much makeup wearers are fine on a daily basis without it.

I wouldn't be surprised at all if it was on purpose as well to keep girls dependent on makeup, similar to how they put nicotine in cigarettes.

My parents are the same age. My dad looks like hes 90 and my mom passes for early 50s. Both are mid 60s

aside from the chemicals they put on makeup that the skin absorbs, it also blocks uvb rays. makeup is bad bad bad.

But yeah, if anything foundation helps the skin. A lot of foundations have sun protection in them.

Lol thanks! Ive been wearing makeup daily since I was like 12. But I dont do any of the other stuff. Im the type to stay under shade at the beach, wear lots of sunscreen. I only have the occasional drink here and there.

I remember reading something on why men tend to have stronger grips than women: it's because the nerves (or related) of the skin in men are "crossed" while in women, they're parallel. This was an advantage back in the day because males did the hunting so it allowed them to have better grips on their weapons; similarly, women are more sensitive to colors, which allowed their ancestors to determine which fruits and plants were safe and which were dangerous.

But on the former, the nerve thing now affects how both sexes carry their fat, with the results usually being more drastic in women than in men. Perhaps that also affects aging as well.

But that's just a guess.

Sunlight and tanning is terrible for skin, though. 80% of skin aging in caucasians is due to sun exposure/tanning. Many women love to go to tanning.

Yeah, and this is also why Black people tend to age better in comparison as well, since melanin is a natural sunblock.

Guys have more muscle mass and testosterone, harder to get fat with a slowing metabolism, also easier to lose weight once fat is gained.

not sure if they actually age worse or if we age the same and that men and women just value different things

eg for woman youth and looking younger os desirable whereas for men being more mature looking is more desirable that looking boyish and baby-faced

also makeup fucks your skin up and makes it so you have to keep buying and applying makeup to cover up the damage it's done

Women age the same as men.

Aging is just considered less attractive for women.
