Because at the time of the Moon landing,it would have been harder and more expensive to fake the moon landing than to actually just land on the moon.

The president can't bang an intern without everyone knowing it. Do you really think the government is capable of keeping the dozens, if not hundreds, of people needed to fake the moonlanding quiet?

Do you think Russia, a country that had never liked us, and at the time had every incentive in the world to prove we faked it, would have accepted the moonlanding of there was any reason to believe it was fake?

The fact that people actually likely believe this stuff is pretty crazy. Just so much of reality they have to ignore to get it to work. Same with pretty much every "conspiracy"

Even with all of the proof that the moon landing did happen, it's amazing how quickly people dismiss this. The only thing I can figure happened was that they did land on the moon, but something went wrong trying to record it so they had some faked footage as a contingency plan that they showed instead.

Because it's as dumb as the rest of the questions they raise and has been explained a thousand times already.

The problem with moon hoaxers is they'll never concede a point, they're just throw dozens of claims, each of which may take a long and comprehensive understanding to explain and even if they a taught, they'll ignore it and bring it up again with the next person they're trying to poison. It's no different from religious apologetics in that regard.

Will you concede that the moon landing happened? And in my own words or will any of the videos or articles suffice?
And have you bothered actually looking into the explanations or did you go down the youtube conspiracy rabbit hole and self radicalize without looking outside the echo chamber?

What is your best* piece of evidence against it, there's no reason to waste my time with "but whatta bouts" as the goal post continually moves.
And also, how is a flag, made of special materials, specifically engineered for going to the moon, suppose to look, and how do you know it wasn't bumped or anything like that?
Generically, saying it doesn't look right when you don't know how it should act in that gravity and environment, is saying fucking nothing.

I attempted quite a bit to think of logical explanations. First I thought maybe he brushed up against the flag, then I thought maybe when he hopped by it sent vibrations through the ground that were picked up by the flagpole which waved the flag. But nothing really lined up with what's in the footage. This static dust theory seems pretty good but I wasn't able to find anything linking it to the flag waving, so I'd appreciate a source where that's been discussed.

The Coulomb force (aka, static electricity) would be pretty substantial in a place with weak gravity and negligible atmosphere.

It's 'dismissed' because it literally wasn't flapping. It was vibrating because the flagpole was shaking.
