Of all the things that deserve an animated series it's definitely that. Get on that shit, Brian Lee O'Malley.

They did a small animation for adult swim.

Maybe on the comics series 10th anniversary? Either when it started or ended or wait for the movies anniversary?

Nah, man. Scott Pilgrim is over. Be happy with the comics or do it yourself.

If the Gorillaz can get a show, then so can Scott Pilgrim. And you know what? I fucking will!

Both the film and the game are exciting adaptions, I don't think there needs to be anymore.

If there needs to be a new video game-based cartoon, it should be a Code Monkeys revival.

But a piece of media that really needs a show is Team Fortress 2. Adult Swim was soooo close to making it a reality back when they announced a partnership with Valve.

It shouldn't be a series. The plot has clear boundaries, and every book as a focus. At most it's a series of movies, but even that seems unnecessary.

As for relevance, the books will always be relevant wherever that are adult men who refuse to grow up and who get away with using people because they are attractive/cute. It's also a great depiction of that liminal period between graduation from school or college and settling into whatever comes next.

Netflix's A Series Of Unfortunate Events has a format that could work. Two or three 40 minute episodes per book, three seasons.
