Without being so in your face about it, too. At least as far as Marvel and their trademark Disney movies. Were getting more diversity in film and it just feels natural without being forced. Black Panther was a home run and now Ant-Man and The Wasp is out. That movie had a lot of strong females. None of this Oceans 8 or Ghostbusters remake bull crap.

A film can be great regardless of the sex/race of the characters. It can also be horse shit regardless of the sex/race of the characters.

I agree MCU is doing a much better job at representation without being so hamfisted about it. I haven't seen anyone complain about The Wasp being a girl or Black Panther being black with any validity; you kinda have to be a little sexist/racist to care when it's presented in that way. The MCU has come a long way from the only woman being a one-dimensional leather-clad Scarlett Johansson (they've fleshed out her character too beyond just being "sexy femme fatale") and Iron Man having a black sidekick and that's it. You can have diversity naturally.
Whereas The Last Jedi, which I still liked more than some, was admittedly very much like LOOK IT'S A WOMAN IN CHARGE with Holdo. --- ... Copied to Clipboard!
