Put a proper lock on your screen, and upload sensitive files more often to somewhere actually secure. yes i know, im just saying its a dumb feature to have on the phone. its supposed to be like a dual layer of security. oh no they got into my phone, but at least thats safe. but nope! its really only protected by your initial screen lock. --- One in a Million, TWICE! I mean if someone has access to your email they can get into anything, I can't really fault Samsung here.
Sounds like it does an acceptable job of keeping snooping roommates and border agents who only have access for a minute or two from seeing all your stuff. --- Got questions about schoolwork? Doesn't say anything at all about the actual security of Secure Folder or anything you might put into the encrypted container, which uses the Knox platform and is DOD/NSA certified.
If someone has access to your email, that isn't Samsung's fault. You can mitigate this to a degree by changing the name of the folder, changing the app icon, or hiding the app altogether. --- When it is obvious that the goals cannot be reached, don't adjust the goals, adjust the action steps. - Confucius ... If someone has access to your email, that isn't Samsung's fault. well in my scenario, my samsung account uses my gmail. my gmail is accessible on the phone itself, via the app right on my home screen! ugh! youre right in the sense that if my samsung account wasn't tied to an email that wasn't on my phone, it'd be good but i didn't know that! and now if i wanna change my email, i have to remove all my samsung pay cards!! ugh! adding them was hard enough. for some i had to call in or wait for security reasons! --- One in a Million, TWICE!
