I can't prove it, nor can I even really test for it. It's an answer that, as it stands, is completely beyond my grasp. But, oh well. Because I seem to experience this universe (whatever it is). Likewise, literally everyone around me also appears to experience this same universe. So even if it all is just a huge simulation, it doesn't really matter. All we can do is work with what we have. And we all seem to have a shared understanding that this universe is real. In fact, we need it to be real in order for us to talk about it. So we assume it's real. Religion may be defined as a cultural system of designated behaviors and practices, worldviews, texts, sanctified places, prophecies, ethics, or organizations, that relates humanity to supernatural, transcendental, or spiritual elements. The absence of a belief in the supernatural or higher being would not mean that is a religion.
