Anyway, he gets to the weight and tells me such-and-such "elbees."

I take a look.

"Dude. That's 'pounds'."
"No it's not. How does lb stand for pounds?"
"I dunno but it does."
"Pokemon don't even weigh in pounds."
"What?"

Turns out he thought they were essentially weightless, and actually small enough to fit in a pokeball.

I literally have never met anyone so confused about so many things at once.
