I mean Tidus in general is a pretty poorly acted character, he just comes off as whiny and annoying for the whole game. You could blame the director of the english dubbing if you want but he just has a bitchy sounding voice.

I didn't say that (because I think that was the point), I was merely saying that using that particular example for dubs being bad is incredible dumb when you know the context of the scene.

It was the director. Dude was under the impression that when Tidus was narrating, he was older and wiser.
