Are there noise bylaws in your city that can be applied to lawnmowers at that time? Here you can't run lawnmowers, construction equipment or other unreasonably loud machinery between 10 pm and 7 am.

My dad used to own a lawn service and I worked with him. 6 AM is the starting time. Sun isn't all the way up, it's still cool out and you can nail out a yard early. Win-win for the laborer. Don't be a dick about this guy trying to make a living.

Have you ever mowed the lawn before when it's 100 degrees? Fuck that shit. Every time I've mowed the yawn for my entire life has usually been between 6 and 7am. If it's 10am.. I usually say fuck that unless it's cool outside at that time.

Where I am that's a noise pollution violation and I could literally call the cops on them. 10pm-10am, no one makes a fucking peep.

I'm up at 5 for work anyway so doesn't bother me in the least. However, I concur it is a dick move. But out here in the desert it's pretty common to do it early before it gets hot af.

if they have to do so, some warning would be nice to prepare for it :(.
i use earplugs if my neighbors plan to do some morning mowing. they said they would tell me if they plan to the next morning and it works out.

Yeah, I'm up at 5:30, but so I'm immune as well but I'd think after 8 or so would be a lot more courteous.

10 am? That's insane. I'd be pissed if I had to wait until then

As for the TC if the bylaws say its ok to start at 6 then its honestly fair game. I myself like to start as early as possible, but I never do it before I can start. I'd make sure 6 is the correct start time and if its not I'd take it up with them
