I usually see "for men" used by brands with an existing gender bias.

Dove bodywash is usually marketed towards women. Men can use it and nobody will even notice or care, but they're more worried abour moving product.

Pens are usually gendered at all to begin with, so its weird to suddenly try to market them as such.

Shampoo "makes sense" because they trick people into thinking that men and women need different shit for their hair. Pens does not make sense. Last time I checked women can hold a standard pen perfectly fine.

I had to look it up, its literally just pink and purple pens. The ink is still blue though. There is nothing else feminine about it. Pretty weak marketing.
