quistis was the only one without an easily accessible way to deal enough damage to one-shot the final boss

Yep Rinoa is a terrible character

FFVIII spoilers

- Has stupid daddy issues
- Needs to be rescued every freakin disc. (Like 3 times in disc 3 alone)
- Turns our awesome loner Squall into some pansy who cant live without her.
- Is Seifers used goods.

Rinoa kept pushing herself on Squall but he was too much of a respected loner(ha) to acknowledge it.
