I want to hear people methods in how they study for their GCSE and A level exams, so maybe I can do the same thing.

Keep in mind I am working full time and go to private class to study.

I was never able to dredge up enough motivation to study for standardized tests. Even for the GRE, the only reason i studied for a week before the exam was because a hurricane knocked out power for a week so there was nothing else to do.

For real things, I just take the time to really understand them the first time.

If I have to cram, I need to do it in the library with headphones so I'm not tempted to visit CE where other people can see me shitposting on gamefaqs.gamespot.com.

Movie soundtracks with no lyrics are great.

I'm doing my degree online. Each week is a new topic with topic notes and recommended reading. I have literally not bought one text book though, so I generally read the notes, re-write them into my own (that's how it sinks in - I need to re-write it, rather than just read), do my own research on the topic, topic quizzes provided by the university, and read lecture powerpoints.

Then come exam, I review all the topics, pick out the key points in each topic and create a 1-2 page document summarizing each topic, re-do quizzes, and just cram the fuck out of it.

I'm not a very good student, normally get like 60-75% on my units, but hey, all you need to do is pass. I already work full time and study part time so I just want the degree.
