DC and Marvel insist on keeping characters the same age for tradition and to keep them around forever. no matter who is drawing or writing them, they have a policy to do this. and the characters never age even if they last under the same person for a long time. if someone stayed on with a character for 30 years, they still would not age the characters. it's just how Marvel and DC operate. and it might sound dumb to non fans but as a fan of DC and Marvel I actually like it. I'd rather have eternal never ending modern myths of these legendery people to have my whole life, than just 1 single lifetime of the character and then they get old and retire or die. that would suck. but like I said, maybe non comic readers just wouldn't understand or "get it" anyway, batman is a millenial now, or gen eXer he is always around mid 30's so he is about my age now, or I might even be slightly older than him. but around 5 years ago there was a batman comic where he talked to an old female friend from college. and they talked about how she used to be obsessed with anime and tried to introduce anime to Bruce. someone once also joked that someday soon, they might retcon his origin story so that his parents died going out to see Pokemon: The First Movie instead of Mark of Zorro <cite>Zikten posted [p:904769789] in Peter Park...
