Republicans fighting to make it legal for state employees to deny issuing marriage licenses to gay people, etc.
Basically using their religion as a free pass to ignore laws they don't like.

Out of curiosity, do you believe we should enforce all laws, even if we don't like them?

By definition it's a cult. They worship a lich and a creator who will punish them for not admiring them and upholding the views of that divine figure, as interpreted by some "chosen" human leader.

Government infringing on rights is usually one of the go-to reasons for what fundies argue that their guns are for, but they seem to not care so much about those ideals when it comes to government employees infringing on the rights of gay people.

its the funniest argument. Most of these gun nuts are never going to be oppressed by the government. In reality? they will be the ones who support authoritarianism.

Don't forget the cognitive dissonance of "don't you dare kneel and not worship the flag of a nation I have amassed a stockpile of weaponry to take down."

Within the next 5 years, it will allow doctors to refuse to serve gay people and individuals who have had a kid out of wedlock. Mark my words, Trump's new supreme court nominee will make it happen.
