I never got into it, but it's a free game which I think is absolutely insane for how passionate the dev team seems to be about it.

It gets weekly updates and overhauls every few months. The game is completely different from when you played.\

EDIT: One of those overhauls was the movement system.

I think I'll give Warframe a second chance on Switch. Tried it about three years ago after hearing "it has microtransactions, but you can easily earn everything", and was turned off when it was quickly revealed to not be the case. Maybe it's changed now.

You can earn everything in game for free, this has always been the case. The only thing locked behind a paywall are cosmetics, and even then, you can trade stuff you get in game for the premium currency, so cosmetics can be had for free that way.

You need to get a couple frames you want and like and just use them while everything builds. Eventually youll have too much to level before its built anyway.

Thanks for posting that. I had seen the original demo for Dark Sector on youtube sometime after I had played the game. But this was still long before Warframe. One of my favorite things about this game is that it's nods to DS and how DS is the starting point of the lore in the game. DS is one of my favorite games ever, and playing Warframe is almost like Dark Sector 2.
