I'm inexperienced with Amazon. Only ever bought a few items on there. One item was a DVD that had clearly been used and resealed in new plastic.

This time, I'm buying a board game. I really don't want to pay money for a "new" board game that isn't new. Mostly because of feeling like I'm being ripped off, but also because there's no guarantee all the pieces will even be there.

How often do sellers do this stuff?

maybe 75% good. 25% bad. but i only buy video games and DLC figures. out of all the times probably 50+ i have maybe gotten 4 bad orders. last one was not the sellers fault but the finn the human figure for lego dimensions doesn't work (marceline had this same issue) i'm supposed to call em on monday in case they don't have my info to send another figure (if it was just a game it's easier replaced).

as for you, if you don't get all the pieces in the box. go to orders, report issue and say that you didn't get X item lets say title deeds for monopoly. should be 4 options to send back for a refund.

It's specific to third party sellers. If you complain through Amazon they'll refund you most likely.

Someone gave me a tip that buying with sellers that do the "fulfilled by Amazon" thing have guaranteed refunds, so I'll go with that. Now it's just a matter of going through the feedback and picking the right seller.

it's slightly faster imo. only have to wait 5 days plus some change for it to arrive. compared to maybe 2 weeks or under depending on the USPS and the seller (most often it's maybe a week to a week and a half).
